Stephen Pape, Director

District 1

Stephen Pape was elected to serve District 1 on the HILCO Board of Directors in September 2008. He has previously served in various elected and appointed positions including Mayor of Glenn Heights, and director positions for the Red Oak ISD Education Foundation and the state and regional chapters of the Air Conditioning Contractors Associations (ACCA). He also served several years as the Texas legislation chairman for ACCA working with state legislators and staff on HVAC and Electrical issues.

Stephen and Becky, married 24 years, have 3 children and live in Oak Leaf. They remain active in the community and enjoy serving at Bear Creek Baptist Church and other organizations including the Lions Club, and Red Cross Disaster Services.

Stephen earned an MBA Degree from Texas A&M-Commerce in 2007 and a BS Degree in Physics from Southern Nazarene University in 1985. He is a licensed Master Electrician and licensed Air Conditioning and Refrigeration contractor as well as a Certified Home Energy Rater and he enjoys teaching contractors and their employees to help improve the industries.
